Stray Animal Care Coordinator (m/f/d)

Your contribution will be

  • Facilitating in-country partnerships and organising local events to improve canine and feline welfare
  • Supporting the Stray Animal Care programme activities in Cambodia when needed
  • Coordinating and facilitating dog and cat meat trade investigations in Cambodia as part of the objective of FOUR PAWS’ campaign to end the Dog and Cat Meat Trade campaign
  • Facilitating rescues, slaughterhouse closures and confiscations of dogs and cats from the Dog and Cat Meat Trade, and supporting their adoptions
  • Coordinating in-country activities related to the Dog and Cat Meat Trade Campaign and other local project activities based on plan
  • Organising and producing photo/video content and communication/Fundraising stories (with Stray Animal Care Southeast Asia Content Manager) to promote the Cambodia Stray Animal Care programme within FOUR PAWS
  • Supporting logistics and planning of press activities when required
  • Identifying opportunities to promote the Stray Animal Care programme in Cambodia
  • Preparing and submitting regular programme status reports
  • Supporting the Stray Animal Care/Dog and Cat Meat Trade teams in other duties as assigned by country office/immediate line management

 

Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Several years of experience in similar function in an INGO or relevant institution
  • Excellent command of English (Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing)
  • Competence in using information technology, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel processing, and PowerPoint software
  • A startup mentality and willingness to be part of buildup within a dynamic working environment
  • Ability to work independently, good task prioritisation skills and time management skills
  • Excellent organisational, planning and interpersonal skills, team player and ability to work in a diverse and cross-cultural team environment
  • Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
