Campaigns Coordinator (m/f/d)

Your contribution will be

  • Being an integral part of the strategic development and implementation of campaigns to end the dog and cat meat trade in Cambodia, including integration with public awareness campaigns and other activities and assisting with campaigns elsewhere in Southeast Asia
  • Work closely with the head of Southeast Asia Companion Animal campaigns producing and updating project plans for political engagement, monitoring timelines and tracking project tasks to completion
  • Leading on formulating and implementing a strategy on stakeholder engagement in relation to the dog and cat meat trade and general animal welfare issues in consultation with the Dog and Cat Meat Trade team and Cambodia country management, including arranging, conducting and implementing stakeholder meetings and consultations
  • Understanding and analysing Cambodian policy instruments and processes, particularly those related to animal health and welfare
  • Analysing stakeholders and political frameworks in Cambodia and keeping apprised of relevant developments as part of government stakeholder and influencer engagement
  • In close collaboration with the Dog and Cat Meat Trade South East Asia Team, usage and maintenance of the Dog and Cat Meat Trade  reporting tool and communicating outputs to local, national and international government stakeholders
  • Assisting in the development of advocacy and public awareness campaigns in and with specific focus on but not limited to Cambodia
  • Supporting in project management and coordination of activities to achieve the campaign outcomes working as part of an international team, tracking, measurement, evaluation and reporting on campaign KPI’s and key milestones for FOUR PAWS Cambodia
  • Enable and organise press activities when required for dog and cat meat trade and other animal welfare issues in Cambodia
  • Stay apprised of Cambodian media clippings pertaining to the dog and cat meat trade and updating the Dog and Cat Meat Trade campaign team on important developments
  • Contributing to investigation/research projects on animal welfare issues as needed by the country office.
  • Arranging and compiling input from team members and other consultants in Cambodia
  • Keeping abreast of current trends in both companion animal welfare and international campaigning
  • Supporting FOUR PAWS Cambodia in other duties as assigned.

 

Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Several years of experience in similar functions in an INGO or relevant institutions
  • University degree or documented experience in animal welfare or related applicable fields
  • Excellent command of English (Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing)
  • Competence in using information technology, Microsoft Office, Word and Excel processing, and PowerPoint software.
  • A startup mentality and willingness to be part of buildup within a dynamic working environment
  • Ability to work independently. Good task prioritisation skills and time management skills.
  • Excellent organisational, planning, and interpersonal skills, team player and ability to work in a diverse and cross-cultural team environment
  • Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
