Your contribution will be

As the assistant you act as the right hand of the Director and being the connector within the team. You are pro-active, see where there is work to be done and take this up independently. In short, you are responsible for ensuring that everything runs smoothly for the Director and within our office.

  • Assisting and supporting the Country Director with daily business including organisational, operational and administrative topics
  • Organising travel arrangements such as flights, trains and hotel accommodations for both the Director and other colleagues
  • Planning and preparing board meetings, team meetings and workshops within VIER VOETERS and FOUR PAWS International as well as keeping, summarising, circulating minutes and follow up on decisions and actions
  • Coordinating and assisting with several projects such as management reports, annual report and annual accounts
  • Being responsible for the office management, the contact person for suppliers and manage the contracts
  • Working together with the colleagues of Animal Welfare Support you ensure that the office runs smoothly, representativeness of the office and support colleagues with things as remote working and SharePoint
  • Being responsible for internal communications
  • Organising internal events such as team drinks and celebrations

 

Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Several years of experience in a similar position
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written
  • Ability to multi-task, structure, organise and prioritise work based on business requirements
  • Excellent with Office 365 and other systems and tools such as MS Teams and DocuSign
  • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with people and build effective working relationships, both on national and international level
  • Hands-on mentality and a positive mindset
  • Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
