Your contribution will be

• Ensuring the consolidation of the administration and the implementation, recording and reporting of the financial monthly, quarterly and annual closing in accordance with local legislation and the FOUR PAWS policy
• Watching over budgets, identifying deviations, preparing analysis and forecasts for the director, Board and international organisation
• Being the contact person for the external financial (salary) administration office, the accountant, local authorities, insurance companies and banks
• Ensuring that all payment transactions are processed correctly and timely
• Being responsible for the annual external audit, preparing the annual accounts and the financial management report
• Guiding and optimising the processes and policies of Finance
• Monitoring local regulations and applying them to policies, reports and the annual accounts to meet the CBF recognition criteria
• Advising the director on further development of the financial policy
• Settlement of legacies

Your profile ideally illustrates

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Few years of experience in a similar position
• Experience with financial administrative processes and database systems
• Knowledge of financial accounting, taxation and relevant legislation and regulations
• Being well acquainted with the regulations regarding RJ650 and CBF annual reports
• Knowledge of MS Office, with excellent skills in Excel
• Excellent command of Dutch and English, spoken and written
• Analytical, accurate, sincere and outcome-driven attitude
• Great affinity to animal welfare and FOUR PAWS vision and mission
