We are thrilled to share the news that all 20 dogs who took their Freedom Flight to the US earlier this year have now found their forever families! Thank you to our partner The Barking Lot and their network of fosters who found all the pups homes in no time!

FOUR PAWS rescued these dogs from unimaginable cruelty. Stolen from loving families and off the streets, crammed into small cages, then sold into the meat trade, they were destined for a brutal death. These 20 dogs represent millions more who need to be rescued and protected from the dog and cat meat trade.

Our 20 superhero dogs also represent the amazing resiliency of these rescued animals. We find ourselves in awe of the dogs’ ability to forgive the cruelties inflicted on them by humans as they learn to trust and love their rescuers and new families. We treasure each life that is saved, and seeing these slaughterhouse survivors thrive emphasizes the need to protect every life we can.
